Fairmont Mount Kenya Safari club was Once Patronized By United Kingdom Prime Minister

It is located in Nyanyuki at the slopes of Mt Kenya,the second highest mt in Africa after Mt Kilimanjaro in Tanzania.

It sprawls the equator in a splendour of alluring cottages and classy buildings set in trimmed and decorative ponds and hence is the only club in Africa and perhaps the world,which offer visitors an opportunity to dat from north and south hemisphere while in a room.

The club also boast of a quant nine hole manicured golf course interpolated with ponds,sandbanks.The scenic land scape present a calm atmosphere and perfect setting for teeing off.The golf course is one of its in Africa as it is bisected by the equator.

Both local and international visitors who visit the club can go game viewing on horse backs.Also an animal orphanage is a stone's throw away from the club.The orphanage is home to many rescued wild animals such as monkeys,bongos and others that are sick,injured and could not survive on their own in the wild.The orphanage is also a zoologist's ideal place for carrying out research.

One can also go for mountain biking in the bush that enable one to see various plants species including exotic and indigenous one that are rare and endangered.While cycling one may come across buffaloes and zebras including some rare white zebras.

The club offers conference facilities of the highest standard and various both local and international meetings has been held here.The Giant Club meeting was held this year at the club and attended by dignitaries from around the world.Visitors while at their stay at the club are treated to sumptuous meals and refreshing drinks 

The Giant club was founded by President Uhuru Kenyatta with leaders from Bostwana,Gabon and Uganda in order to find ways of stopping wildlife smuggling.

Traditional artefacts including shields and clubs locally known as rungus are available for sale to visitors at the club.Souvenirs are also available.

Prominent and influential personalities have been hosted in this magnificent club.Sir Winston Churchil,Lord Moubatlen,film legends Clark Gable and John Wayne were members who enjoyed sojourns at the club
