How Long It Takes A Snail To Die After Sprinkling It With Salt

(photo; only for the purpose of illustration)

When it comes to killing a snail by pouring salt on top of it, reseachers have no records concerning the time it takes for a snail to die after pouring some salts on it. But as indicated, when you pour salt on top of it the salt immediately starts drawing water out of the snail's body in which it results in dehydration.

The size and amount of salt that you sprinkle mostly determines the speed of the process. This means pouring a small amount of salt may take longer to kill the snail than pouring a larger amount of salt.

However, It's also advisable to use Epsom salts or aquarium salts for better results.

Thank you so much for your time. I hope you have learned something new. Please be sure to share this information with your family, friends, neighbors and all your loved ones, without forgetting to follow me for more educative health contents.
