Property Worth Millions Destroyed In Taita Taveta

I/CResidents of "Mbololo"and "Sagana" in Taita Taveta are calling out for help from the goverment after property worth millions is destroyed by wild animals.

According to them, elephants from the national park have been coming out and going into their farms destroying the produce expected to be for consumption as well as commercial purposes.

Speaking to the media, a resident, Steven Wakeshi has narrated the agony they have been going through "This wild animals are making us become more poor and stressed everyday, they are destroying our crops, drinking our stored water and destroying the storage tanks. We are requesting the goverment to please come and rescue us since we have aired our plight to the KWS but this animals are still here with us raving everything".

School going children have been having a hard time reporting to their institutions ealy due to fear of being attacked by wild beasts.
