Ringtone has disclosed that women forced him to quit music, an industry he has been in for years. Ringtone’s statement comes barely a day since he announced his exit from the industry. The singer has now put blame on women for his decision. While narrating how the situation turned out this way, the singer stated that women have been pursuing him while on his preaching mission instead of listening to God’s word.
The “Pamela” hit maker claimed that it was hard for him to focus while in the industry and therefore, he resolved to end his music career. Narrating about the whole story, Ringtone stated, “I quit gospel music because instead of women following Christ that I preach, they ended up loving me. That’s why I am taking a short break so that these women can focus on Jesus and leave me alone.”
He continued, “most of them are very happy because they always view me as a threat. You know most of them thought I was the reason they weren’t succeeding.” He explained that people should stop putting the blame on his wealth.
“By now, my net worth is Ksh 1 Billion, earnings I made through doing Gospel songs and by using my brain. The Bible says in James ‘If anyone of you lacks wisdom, let him ask of the Lord who gives without reproach.” His decision has raised concerns online, with majority of his fans alleging that he is chasing clout.
“It has come to an end and I have decided that I will be singing love songs. To all artists in the secular industry, don’t take it as a completion just welcome me with an open heart so that we can take the industry to the next level. Bye bye gospel industry.)” What do you think about Ringtone’s decision?
