The internet has gone ablaze after receiving the news that rapper Cardi B has filed for a divorce from her rapper husband Offset. The two love birds have been in a 3 year old marriage and nobody thought they could actually split after going through it all.
The couple secretly dated and married secretly in 2017 and now have a 2 year old daughter, Kulture. Leaked files from the family court in Fulton County, Georgia shows that Cardi B(real name is Belcalis Almanzar) yesterday filed for a divorce. She also filed for full custody of their daughter Kulture and that Offset support his kid fully.
The court documents state that the couple is currently living in a 'bona fide state of separation', and so the marriage is irretrievably broken and there are no prospects of reconciliation.
Cardi B is therefore also asking for primary custody of Kulture and requests Kiari Cephus(Offset) to contribute to their child's support and maintenance. The court hearing has been scheduled to November this year.
Throughout the relationship, there have been rumour of Offset's infidelity and there was a point that they had even broken up. He asked for her forgiveness publicly and Cardi B forgave him.
Apart from Cardi, Offset has three other baby mamas and an overall of four children including Kulture Kiari Cephus. His previous infidelity accusations and the claim by Cardi B in previous years that they had fallen out of love might be the reason for their divorce. What do you think? Comment down below.
