Veteran Journalist Joe Kadhi dies while receiving treatment

Kadhi's family said that the media character would be entombed on Thursday in accordance with Muslim practices.

The previous Daily Nation Managing Editor was hailed by quite a few people as the back up parent of print media because of his commended profession.

"Miserable day; veteran columnist Joe Kadhi has passed on. We have lost a guide, proficient watchman, unbelievable mentor and a trailblazer of the brilliant age," Royal Media Service Editorial and Innovation Director Linus Kaikai grieved.

Prior to moving to the United States International University-Africa, where he resigned, Kadhi had a regarded media vocation and shown reporting at the Universities of Nairobi and Addis Ababa.

Because of his 20-year profession, he was given the lifetime accomplishment grant at the 2015 Media Council's Annual Journalism Excellence Awards.

Teddy Otieno, a previous understudy of Kadhi's, lauded him for his unprejudiced detailing.

"He was an extraordinary man. The expression 'distribute and be cursed,' his dominance of the cardinal job of goal detailing and the stray pieces of news coverage, will perpetually have a spot throughout the entire existence of media practice in Africa," he said.
