Peterson Gathambo is known by his stage name as Githecha, was born from a very humble background in Nyeri county in the former central province. He is an actor who plays a role of very bad characters in the society such as murderers, started his acting in Nairobi Half Life (2012) and later in Machachari (2016).
Currently, he is a main character in Ithaga Riene, a husband to Sandra, father to Muriu and general manager of a very big restaurant where the main setting is based. He had a secretive love affair with Nyambu that led to bearing a baby and is threatening her by killing if she let out the secret to anyone.
Away from his busy schedule, he does the following to boost his income:
1. He owns a shop in Nairobi where he sells bales of second hand clothes.
2. He does farming at his rural home majorly focussing on dairy production and vegetable growing.
Although he has revealed the actual amount he makes from the enterprises, he said is far above his salary.
