Netizens have this morning bashed the star newspaper for their fake news information. The newspaper had reported about former Us president Barack Obama Travelling to Kenya after the death of his Grandmother Mama Sarah Obama.
The star went on to narrate the former president's itinerary. It includes a visit to the statehouse to meet president Kenyatta before touring the Star newspaper head offices and finally fly to Allego in Kisumu to meet his bereaved family.
The Star Newspaper editors knew the day being famous for people being pranked, and they decided to invent their own, which ended flopping terribly as Kenyan were quick to unearth the lie before heavily rebuking the newspaper.
Kenyans were quick to unearth the newspaper cheap pranks. Most of the comments believed that the Star newspapers went too far with the joke and should not have published such kind of news, given the types of reactions it might elicit.
