Citizen TV's editorial director Joe Ageyo has finally hanged the mic with the Royal Media Services (RMS), Ageyo has been working with Kenya's mainstream TV for four years now after quitting KTN. Ageyo joined KTN in 2000 as a general news reporter, but his work was focused on environmental stories.Joe Ageyo returns to NTV after leaving <a class=Citizen TV | Pulselive Kenya"/>

He became the first Kenyan to win a prestigious award for the "Environmental Journalist of the Year" in 2001 following his segment in the TV which centered itself in environment. Making the announcement on his resignation, Ageyo thanked the RMS for giving him the opportunity and said that he's quitting to pursue other interests.Joe Ageyo&amp;#39;s Angle: Our Intolerant Society - YouTube

"I wish to announce that Joe Ageyo who has for the last four years served the RMS as Editorial Director is leaving the company to pursue other interests," read the statement in part.

The new development, Linus Kaikai has now been elevated to handle both his role as well as the void left by Ageyo. He will henceforth serve as the Editorial Director across all RMS platforms.
