American Fox News Presenter On The Spot For Comment That Kenyan Women Don’t Have Voting Rights

Emily <a class=Compagno Named Co-Host of Fox News' 'Outnumbered'"/>

A Fox News presenter who said on live television that Kenyan women don't have the right to vote has come under fire from her countrymen for her remarks.

The co-host of the news review program Outnumbered; Emily Rose Compagno appeared to be weighing in on the opinions of some American celebrities regarding the ability of women to vote.

She claims that when it comes to voting rights, places like Kenya are the worst because expectant mothers are hardly ever permitted to leave their homes.

These remarks are completely irrational. She is apparently discussing voting rights. That there are fewer voting planes here?; said a fervent Ms. Compagno.

She then commented and said what about Kenya, where pregnant women are not allowed to leave the house and therefore have no meaningful right to vote or Oman; where women are required to vote according to their husbands' due dates or risk being executed.

Her comments; which were obviously incorrect, did not sit well with Kenyans as expected. Kenyan online users are now requesting that she retract the comments and that the television network issue an apology.
