Makena said she knew she was different many years ago, She however, disclosed that she was bullied and dealt with hateful online comments because of the choice to be the bold and outspoken about her Identity.
Former BBC journalist alias Chris Njeri has for the first time come out publicly as a member of the LGBTQ community. Makena disclosed that she knew she was special and gay for many years ago after interogating her feelings.She went further and stated that she knew about her sexual orientation along time ago but took her time to accept who she is. "I remember for the first time in my life after very many years,I looked at the mirror and said to myself 'I am a gay, 'I am unique and this is my truth," Makena said.
Makena came out clearly stating that making it known that she was gay and in love with a fellow woman Michelle Ntalani was a long tedious journey.
Just recently Makena made headlines after somewhat dropping hints online that she was in love with Michelle Ntalani her fellow woman. Both Makena and Ntalani broke the internet with photos with them looking all loved up.
