Diamond Platimums is the most successful artist and musician from East Africa when it comes to ranking singers who have acquired wealth and success through singing. There are artists who are richer than him but such singers have acquired wealth through businesses and entrepreneurship (Akothee) unlike him who got all that he has through music which was his foundation.
7 years ago, on 28th November 2013, Diamond released his first song which introduced him to the music industry. The song was his debut in the music scene and did well as it currently has 7.8 million views on YouTube. Ever since, the male star has soared high in terms of the music he records and even opened up his own music recording label that has brought up other talents like Harmonize, Ray Vanny and Zuchu who are doing well. All this happened from when he had nothing.
Since the song is nearly celebrating it's 8th anniversary since it's release date, Diamond posted it on his Instagram account encouraging people with a beautiful message to never give up. He captined the post saying "each time you want to give up, play this song to remind you that the problems you are facing will one day come to an end. Pray alot, work hard, be creative in your work and respect everyone. God will open doors for you 🙏".
Fans quickly reacted to his inspirational post as some backed up his message as he is a true inspiration regarding the journey and what he has gone through.
