Since the commencement of curfews and lockdowns, a number of gender based violence cases have been hitting headlines in different media platforms.
The most recent ones being the Kiambu butcher which was later discovered to be a love triangle tragedy.
She revealed that her ex-husband impregnated her while in class 8 that left her with no choice but drop out from school, cut short her dream of becoming a nurse and became a house wife.
Things turned qeotic after some time and her husband started being violence that he allegedly tried to stab her but luckily the lethal weapon didn't penetrate as expected by the killer husband.
Since then, she scattered to safety and has never thought of going back. She therefore went on and encouraged all women under the same conditions to stand tall and seek safety first.
According to Moraa, a woman may still be successful event without the help of a man whom may also be a threat at the same time.
Nevertheless, it's also a wake-up call to any other woman whom might be in one way or the other facing violence to come out and save her life before worse take charge.
