But his problems started when the Sacco director chased him away. He even went ahead to use his home in Umoja to get a loan nut when he could not recover the money, the bank came for his home making throwing the family into stress. He said,
“My wife Lucy Nyakinyua passed away in 2006. She could not cope with the stress. My son too is gone. My mother has since died. I live in a hovel. Please do not remind me of the bitter past!”
Unfortunately, after burying his wife and son, another child went missing and has never come back. Johnson said that he worked wholeheartdly for the government but when he hunted one of the people who defrauded him he was released.
“Please do not remind me of my sons. The government has failed me just as it has failed other Kenyans."
