RIP: See What Rachael Ruto Had To Say About The Celebrated broadcaster Catherine Kasavuli

Media and Kenyans have been thrown into deep mourning after the announcement of the demise of legendary broadcaster Catherine Kasavuli. According to the report, provided by Kenya Broadcasting Corporation Managing Director Samuel Maina confirmed that she died on Thursday, December 29.

Kenyans and several leaders have taken to their social media to condole with family and friends after Cate succumbs to Cervical Cancer which she was battling for several years.

The First lady also took the chance to mourn the celebrated Icon noting that Catherine was a woman of great importance and an inspiration to many generations.

"Catherine was a woman of great distinction and accomplishment. Throughout her career, She consistently demonstrated a strong work ethic, poise, and professionalism. Even if you did not enjoy the news you enjoyed watching how gracefully she delivered it", She tweeted.

Catherine Kasavuli left an indelible mark in the history of journalism by being the first woman to break the glass ceiling for female Tv journalists. She has been and will continue to be an inspiration to a generation of female Tv journalists.
