Otile Brown who recently took his foot to South Africa is a singer who is also on a learning mission. According to Otile Brown, Musicians in South Africa are so successfull and famous even the one who has produced two songs unlike here in Kenya.
Otile adds that the Entertainment Industry in South Africa is much richer and this has been orchestrated by their supportive Government that has provided a conducive envirnment for all musicians to exploit their talents well and by doing so, all musicians are proud of themselves and their work.
"South African entertainment industry is not loud but it's rich af.. serikali imewatengenezea Mazingira na wanajipenda sana," Otile states on his Instagram handle.
Otile goes ahead and gets surprised of how the South Africa's produced music are exhaustively played and given top notch in all South Africa's entertainment centres like clubs, restaurants, transportation industry unlike here in Kenya where many of the music played are for outsiders.
"...unawezakua na wimbo mkubwa Africa na hawajui mana uwezi skia wimbo wa nje ata mmoja kwenye club, restaurant au usafiri wowote.. ni uninafsi ila got me thinking," Otile writes.
Otile adds that the Eternainment in South Africa has well created employment and even new musicians are doing well.
He advises the need for a country, like Kenya to invest more on music of their locals to avoid killing the dreams of many.
