Mbusi’s steady rise to stardom and how he met Uhuru

Talented reggae presenter Mbusi now working for Radio Jambo has shed some more light on his salary scale putting to rest the rumour that he earns close to a million.

Mbusi who miraculously joined media profession at Ghetto Radio in Ngara after he was picked from the streets, has been doing quite well on his shows attracting huge listenership across reggae enthusiast mostly the youths who love not only his reggae mixes but also his street slang he frequently uses while on job.

Mbusi the sheng master whose rise to fame has been so steady has also had a chance to host Who is Who in this country including President Uhuru Kenyatta who is also his die hard fan.

This has made him one of the most searched names on major search engines globally as the best co-host presenter alongside his friend Lion.

And speaking on how much he earns which he thinks has always been blown out of proportion by blogs, Daniel Githinji Mwangi or Mbusi recently told Jessy on YouTube that he doesn’t earn sh 650K as rumoured on the streets but he actually earns somewhere around there.

“I don’t have any money. I wasn’t offered a lot of money. You know people on social media and journalists want a story they can sell so they zero in on the most exciting part of your life.

“They want something that will bring hits. They won’t talk about boring things but the most exciting things about you that will attract readers. It’s just talk. The amount is close but it is not the amount quoted,” the Radio presenter further divulged.

This makes Mbusi one of the top earning reggae personalities not only at Radio Africa but also across the country.
