Lillian Muli began her career as an intern in the production department before being promoted to news anchor following a series of screen tests. Lillian left the station five years later to work for Citizen TV. Betty Kyallo works there and has done so for more than four years.
Both of their weddings were extravagant and hyped up, but their marriages ended in divorce. Betty's marriage lasted only six months, whereas Lillian's lasted seven years.
They both earned a Bachelor of Arts in Mass Communication from Daystar University.
Betty is the second child in a family of four, while Lillian is the second child of her late father Henry Muli and Peninah Muli.

Previously, the public associated them with romantic relationships with powerful politicians. Betty is rumored to be dating Mombasa Governor Ali Hassan Joho, while Lillian is rumored to be dating Mike Sonko. They, on the other hand, denied having any connection with the two politicians.
