Ex Machachari actress “Mama Stella” has received help from Kenya’s vitiligo Ambassador Wangui Njee. Ambassador Wangui visited “Mama Stella” at her home and educated her about vitiligo and how to manage it.
This comes after she pleaded with Kenyan well-wishers to help her raise sh: 150,000 for her medical expenses as well as providing an opportunity for her to set up a business.
“Mama Stella” opened up about her condition recently in an interview with Hiram Maina where she admitted that she first noticed a small patch on her skin while still acting on the popular Machachari show but ignored it, a move she regrets dearly.
The actress reveals that her condition pushed her into depression since she could no longer land acting gigs, therefor unable to afford a proper medical care. Her daughter however chipped in and made sure that her mother got all the care that she needed.
