Jose Chameleone Breaks Silence, As He Battles Chronic Bacterial Infection

Ugandan Musician Joseph Mayanya, alias Jose Chameleone, has broken silence after he was re-admitted to the Nakasero hospital last week, after his health deteriorated.

The 42-year-old veteran musician is battling a chronic bacterial infection, Helicobacter pylori (H. Pylori).

Taking to his Twitter account the 'Valu Valu' hit-maker posted a photo of him lying on the hospital bed with his mother beside him.

He went further to thank his mother for her love and truthfulness, before promising to grant more of his life to God.

"Thank You Mama, Your love is evident. You have never given up on the truth, I will grow stronger learning from you," Reads part of the singer's tweet.

According to his US-based wife Daniella Atim, the singer is suffering from a chronic bacterial infection, Helicobacter pylori.

The disease infects the stomach lining and affects the tissues causing inflammation, but can be minimized with proper medication.

Last year, the legendary singer was admitted to the hospital for more than five days, but no details about his ailment were shared to the public.
