If you mention pioneers of Kenyan comedy, you cannot fail to mention Walter Mong'are Nyambane. He is a household name in the entertainment industry, popularly known for his role at Redykyulass where he perfectly mimicked former President Daniel Toroitich Arap Moi. The show comprised of two other talented actors John Kiarie, who played the role of Kamotho (Moi's right-hand man) and Tony Njuguna who acted as the former president, Mwai Kibaki.[Photo courtesy]
Away from acting, he is an alumnus of Lenana School and Kenyatta University where he pursued a Bachelor's degree in Fine Arts. He currently works at the office of the President as a Director in charge of Youth Programs and coordination.[Photo courtesy]
He is a loving father of two children, a daughter called Tracy and a son known as Walter Mong’are Junior. His children were sired with former Tusker Project Fame winner, Linda Muthama.
