Larry Madowo has had quite an interesting journey in his career as a journalist. Starting from humble beginnings to the world's most renowned charts. Here's his amazing journey with big wins time after time.
Madowo started working with the Kenya Television Network (KTN), as a Trainee Reporter. He then moved to NTV, where he worked as a Business anchor. He later on had a segment in the same station which was a friendly engagement section known as #the Trend. Larry moved from NTV to CBNC News where he anchored Business and Financial news.
In 2018, he joined BBC news where he worked as a correspondant in North America and also anchored breaking News, till 2021. This year, Larry joined CNN where he started as a correspondant in his homeland again, Nairobi. Few days later, he was promoted to an International correspondant for the same station.
It hasn’t been a month, and on Thursday 19th August, Larry anchored first Newscast for CNN, which is one of his dream come true.It has been a journey with big wins along and we are all happy and proud of him as Kenyans. His wins is what has made the Kenyans term him as God’s favorite son after Jesus Christ.
