Kenyan artist Stephen Otieno Adera, alias Stevo Simple Boy has hinted at launching his own soft drink dubbed , ‘Freshi Barida’.
The ‘Glory’ crooner took to his Instagram account to share the news and said that the product will soon be available in shops if things go as planned.
“And if God’s grace favours us, they will soon be in shops so that you can be ‘freshi barida’,” Stevo wrote.
More to that, Stevo, together with his new management managed to launch a clothing line called ‘Freshi Barida’ early this year and the sales have been doing quite well as a number of artists and fans came through to support the artist by buying the ‘Freshi Barida’ merchandise.
The phrase ‘Freshi Barida’ which means that ‘I am fine’ has become a common phrase among Kenyans with the ‘Freshi Barida’ song by Stevo Simple Boy garnering more than 800,000 views on You Tube and the newly released ‘Freshi Barida’ remix featuring Mejja, Exray and Gazi garnering more than 450,000 views in less than 7 days one You Tube.
