Kenyan renowned blogger, Edgar Obare's Instagram account has been hacked and deleted after he exposed the Kenyan 'wash wash' community.
A few days ago, Edgar had brought to the limelight list of Kenyan citizens who have been running the 'wash wash' businesses in the country. Edgar revealed Kenyan celebrities such as Felix Odiwuor alias Jalang'o, Betty Kyallo, Rashid Echesa, Zaheer Jhanda among other linked celebrated personalities.
According to Edgar Obare, Betty Kyallo, who is the Chief Executive Officer of "Betty Flairs" has been involved in the money laundry through her hairdressing business. She has been washing the black money using chemicals and ensuring that they are authenticated.
Jalang'o, on the other hand, has been running unscrupulous deals through his Live streaming channel dubbed Jalang'o Tv as clarified by Edgar Obare.
Jalas, through their morning Kiss Fm show with flamboyant co- host Kamene Goro, has denied these allegations claiming that all his wealth has been a product of hard work.
Edgar further revealed that the former sports Cabinet Secretary, Rashid Echesa has been laundry money. He clarified that Echesa has been subjected to trials in court over these 'wash wash' activities but he has been able to even ' Wash away the accusations.
Edgar Obare deeply analysed the commonly known fake gold trader, Zaheer Jhanda. He said that this guy has been selling fake gold and when he was subject to trial in court, he was unfairly judged as not liable to the accusations.
Edgar had also linked the close relationship between Zaheer Jhanda and the veteran politician Dr. William Ruto. According to Edgar, Ruto had been spotted having a confidential conversation with the kingpin of fake gold trade and this may be an anticipation that Dr. William Ruto may also be involved in the 'wash wash' businesses.
