Citizen Television news anchor Waihiga Mwaura has left Kenyans in tears after his recent post on social media.
The reowned journalist is one of the most admired journalists across the nation who many have seen grow in his career.
He is married to gospel singer Joyce Omondi,the two seems to be in love and adore each other according to their social media posts.
They recently trended after social media users mistaken Joyce Omondi's dress with pregnancy. She however later came out and cleared the rumours claiming God's time is the best and thanked everyone who has been praying for her.
The two never talk about their life in public as they are very private. Unlike other celebrities they don't do interviews talking about their relationship and family affairs.
They have however been left into mourning, Waihiga announced the death of his beloved aunty. He took to his Instagram account to inform his followers of the sudden turn of events.
He posted a photo of his aunty standing next to him,they looked happy together. He sent her a message to rest in peace until they will meet again.
"Rest with the angels and those who have gone before us, Aunt Mary. Until we meet again,God is still Good," he wrote.
Kenyans joined hands in sending their messages of condolences including his colleagues and other celebrities.
May her soul rest in peace.
