A popular gospel artist has reportedly perished in a deadly accident.
Kimilili Member of Parliament Hon Didmus Barasa has confirmed the passing on of Issa Paul, a Bungoma County-based gospel artist.
The UDA lawmaker revealed that Issa Paul died after he was involved in a grisly road accident
"I offer my deepest condolences on the tragic loss of musician Issa Paul in a road accident. This news is incredibly sorrowful, leaving a profound sadness in my heart and the hearts of many others. We will forever remember and treasure Issa Paul's music as it touched the lives of countless individuals," Barasa said in part.
The MP has eulogized the deceased singer as a talented young man who inspired many people through his music.
He has since shared his heartfelt condolences to the deceased's family during this difficult moment.
"His remarkable talent and unwavering passion for music will remain an inspiration for years to come. May his soul find eternal peace, and may his loved ones and fans find comfort in the memories they shared with him," added the MP
Barasa has concluded by urging all Bungoma residents and Kenyans at large to honour the departed soul by celebrating the music that he recorded while still alive
"Let us join together to honour Issa Paul's extraordinary legacy by celebrating the joy and unity his music brought to our lives," he concluded.
According to his social media handles, Issa Paul described himself as a talented musician artist from Bungoma Kenya, who specialized in chakacha type of gospel.
"I believe I will make it one day since I do music because of the passion I have for it. I want to take Kenyan music far to another level. God bless you," he described himself on Mdundo.com
