"Do Better" Makena Njeri Calls Out KFCB For Banning Gay Film By Using Christianity Agenda

Ezekiel Mutua's exit as chief from Kenyan film and classification board was celebrated as a move that might see the moral board be more inclusive and diverse on handling its matters but that might not be the case.

The board is back to making headlines after their move yesterday banning a film shot in the country for allegedly demeaning christianity eliciting mixed reactions from Kenyans who are divided along a fine line of supporters and opposers of the move by the board.

Makena Njeri who has been vocal about her sexuality coming out as gay has led the slam against the board for banning the gay themed film.

Seen on her Instagram stories the ex BBC star called out the board for hiding behind the christianity agenda while barring inclusitivity and progress.

"... The christianity agenda is being used once again to stop progress and inclusitivity Kenya films and classification board do better!"
