Taking to Twitter, the 10 over 10 host acknowledged his father as a pillar from which he draws strength, adding that he loves him.
Raburu posted photos on Twitter of his father enjoying the breeze in Malindi’s coastal region, where the family had surprised him a few days before.
“Happy birthday to the Boss! Love you dad! You are such a pillar of strength and wisdom,” Raburu wrote.
Although he did not share the age that his father, Peter Raburu, was referring to, it is assumed that he is over 70 years old.
Willi Raburu and his siblings surprised their father with a sweet vacation to Malindi for his birthday celebrations last week on October 4 without his knowledge.
As seen in the clip that Ivy and Raburu shared on their insta stories, the media personality and his wife, Ivy Namu, shared a video showing how their father was surprised to learn about the vacation.
Raburu senior, a former Nyanza Provincial Commissioner (PC), exclaimed, “I can’t believe it!” shaking his head in disbelief, wondering how his family had honored him.
In disbelief at what his children had done to him just days before his birthday, he ran out of words and repeatedly exclaimed, “Oh my God!”
Willis’ wife, Ivy Namu, his sister Mueni Raburu, and his mother were all in attendance to celebrate their father’s birthday.
Raburu and his wife Ivy Namu have two children, a boy and a girl, with whom they enjoy spending time together, visiting places and doing a variety of activities both inside and outside the home.
Raburu also shared video and photos of the extended family having fun in an unnamed location.
