Many people living with disability are proving that disability is not inability by living their best life. Societies who viewed disability as a curse with many rejecting their affected children are slowly accepting them and loving them. Below are some of the celebrities with disabled children.
1. Kathy Kiuna.
Televangelist Allan Kiuna and his wife Kathy had their son Jeremy who was born prematurely and anaemic. They later realized that Jeremy was born with deformed lower limbs. This hasn't prevented the 19- year-old from achieving his dreams as he graduated from highschool in the UK. Jeremy shocked netizens after he opened up on contemplating suicide after he was bullied in school .
2. Anne Ngugi.
Former KTN news presenter who is currently working for BBC news has a daughter Angel wanjiru who was born with Hydrocephalus. In an interview, Anne admitted that raising a child with disability was not an easy task but she didn't complain. Angel has overcome stigma and won a Voice Achievers award in the USA after releasing her song .
3. Esther Wahome.
Popular 'Kuna Dawa' hitmaker Esther Wahome disclosed in a previous interview that her son was battling autism. Esther admitted that knowing her son was autistic was a very hard time for her and her family. She revealed that the hardest part was watching her son cry after withdrawing some foods he was advised not to eat.
