Ithaga Riene is a Kikuyu comedy Broadcasted in Royal media affiliated vernacular TV station, Inooro fm on every Friday from 8:30pm to 9:00pm. It addresses various issues that affects the society such as politics, relationship and unfaithfulness in marriages.
In the show there are various characters that reflects behaviour of people in the real life situations. One of them is Catherine Kamau popularly known by funs as Leah who is an employee of the governor that owns a very big hotel where the main setting is based.
In facebook page, Leah has revealed that her role is very challenging because of the following.
1. She has never carried a child in her womb yet she pretends to have one and have to keep on consulting old women about the feelings and actions during this critical condition.
2. The treatment she gets for being a side chick to the governor is so good, receives alot of cash and live a high class life. This can make a girl with low moral to start looking for a 'sponsor' to turn to incase of difficulties.
