The media fraternity of Kenya were yesterday plunged into mourning after Veteran KBC journalist Badi Muhsin reportedly took his last breath. The broadcaster was apparently in a work assignment in Mombasa where he happened to develop unforeseen health complications.
Badi who resides from Kitui recently returned to the screens after a long hiatus and was with the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation until his death yesterday. According to a report by Citizen TV and NTV yesterday, the family of the deceased revealed that Muhsin attended Friday evening prayers in Mombasa and later went to rest at his brother's home after complaining of fatigue.
However, Muhsin did not wake up from his sleep consequently being pronounced dead. Muhsin has worked for the Kenya Broadcasting Corporation for 30 years and died at the age of 67. Many have eulogized the fallen legend among them famed celebrities especially from the media fraternity.
Some of them include Citizen TV journalist Rashid Abdalla, Comedian Otoyo Sibuor, Radio personality Hassan Mwana Wa Ali among many other celebrities. Badi is survived by his wife Khadija and his two sons Jamal and Jamil. May he rest in peace.
