The fourth wife of the late Jackson Kibor reminisces about how she fell in love with him. The burial ceremony was held at Kabenes farm in Uasin Gishu, north-west Uganda. Eunita said she was pursued many times by the businessman before accepting his marriage proposal.

Some of the enticements she received from him included a mobile phone and a briefcase which she kept hidden from public view.
She revealed that they met with Kibor Lagat his home when they came to take care of his sick eldest brother the late Arap Lagat. She said he had already gone ahead to secure five acres for her family who were squatters and had built a grass thatched house.

Eunita's grandfather informed Kibor of her whereabouts after she secured a job at an office. It is from this phone that he was able to trace her house where she was renting in the Pioneer estate in the early hours of January 2, 1950.

He called her in the morning and directed him to the house, she thought he was coming for his briefcase. He told her that she will stay with the briefcase so that she do not run away from him. She requested a formal wedding with a ring and few days ago, they tied the knot in front of the Attorney General's office.
