According to the sources another well-known Kalenjin artist passed away at the end of last month after allegedly being beaten in Baringo by unidentified individuals. The late Benard sung alias Ainamoi celebrity had gone to see one of his pals' Baringo county-based friend's video debut. Meanwhile, he was severely beaten that same night in one of the clubs in Ravine following the performance for an unspecified reason. He was later admitted to a Nakuru town hospital before being declared dead.
Just two years prior, a well-known musician also perished in a car accident. In less than 10 years, the Kalenjin country has currently lost at least 5 artists. As proud Kenyans, we send our condolences to the family and pray for God's blessings as they prepare to bury their loved one.
