The ex-wife of celebrated Citizen TV journalist Willis Raburu has been a topic of discussion on the internet for the past few days. Marya Prude, who parted ways with Willis Raburu several months ago, has earned the attention of social media users with her recent activity on social media.
The first reason that has made Marya Prude be a subject of discussion is her move to tell netizens to stop referring to her using her ex-husband's surname. While responding to a social media user who had commented on her photo, Marya Prude told her followers to stop referring to her as Mrs. Raburu.
Shortly after she denounced the name of Willis Raburu, she took to her Instagram story where she exposed a man who had slid into her DM on Instagram. The man in question had sent her several messages in which he expressed his desire to have a family with Marya Prude.
"Nakupenda Sana nataka unizalie watoto wengi," one of the two messages that the admirer had sent to Marya Prude read.
Marya Prude expressed her astonishment at the kind of messages that she was receiving in DM. She did not disclose the identity of the man and instead covered his username. This was probably to save him from the embarrassment of being attacked online.
Marya had been dating Willis Raburu for a while before they separated under unclear circumstances. Prior to their separation, the two had suffered the unfortunate loss of their firstborn child. Willis Raburu in previous interviews confessed that the loss had affected him immensely.
