More Than 200k Hustlers Unfollowed Citizen TV Kenya Alleges Unfair Reporting, Vows To Bring It Down

More than 200k Hustlers have unfollowed Citizen TV Kenya alleging Unfair reporting vow bringing it down.

The latest development comes only few hours after Deputy President William Ruto's followers launched scathing attacks on Royal Media Services LTD's Citizen TV citing malice and bias against the DP Ruto.

DP Ruto's allies faulted a news headline posted by the TV station on Sunday, September 5, that revealed the chaotic situations during DP Ruto's visit in Nyeri county.

The headline read that the DP Ruto's convoy was stoned by irate youths critising his tour in Kieni ward. The supporters blamed the TV station with the headline that reads "Nyeri Mobs Stone Ruto" arguing that Citizen TV never commented on the issue saying that there were no such occurrence.

DP Ruto's political adviser and strategist, Edward Kisiangani, blamed the citizen TV station of spreading false and biased updates against DP Ruto.

"I congratulate Citizen TV Kenya for openly being anti-DP Ruto and fiercely being pro-Raila. Freedom of choice. No problem. Let us wait and see what happens when the people decide 11 months from now!" Edward Kisiangani said.

Some kenyans said UDA brainwashed followers claiming that Citizen TV is biased simply because it showed how Ruto was not welcome in some parts of the countryside.
