Raila Odinga's eldest daughter Winnie Odinga has opened up about the loss of her older brother Fidel Odinga, who died in 2015.
Speaking about her story in the podcast 'Iko Nini', Winnie said Fidel's sudden death was not - and it was not easy - to overcome.
“You never finish, it's something you learn to live with. There are hard times… when other people play with me. And I’m like ‘if my brother was here he would be done’. But it is very difficult to lose a sibling, ”says Winnie.
The 32-year-old woman says that sometimes she is fine, sometimes she is upset or starts crying.
“The grieving process is different for everyone. The most important thing is to be sad, don't pretend there is no other way out, ”he said.
Winnie remembers that she could not mourn her death when Fidel died, until she was laid to rest.
