Kimilili MP Didmus Barasa's video assaulting a musician over tender payment raw has gone viral in social media platforms.
The Mp in a video clip is seen giving a hard slap on the face of singer Steve Kay who was seen following Didmus Barasa complaining over his payment.
"Lazima pesa ulipe,Kazi imeisha na hutaki kulipa,"said Steve Kay before being silenced by Barasa's hard slap
The lawmaker has shared a video of him explaining what really irked him to an extent of assaulting the musician.
Didmus Barasa says the musician went to the school and ordered learners to get out of class over unpaid dues and locked it with a padlock.
Steve Kay did it knowing that Barasa was going to commission classes on Friday evening.
On arrival to the school,Barasa found the pupils out of class and that forced him to give a hard lesson to Steve Kay.
Barasa addressing his constituents explained the encounter mocking Steve kay.
"Kuna kijana moja ambaye nimemsaidia sana,nilikuwa nimempea kazi ya renovation.He's yet to be paid.Leo ameenda shule na kutoa wanafunzi na akafunga na padlock.Kufika huko wanafunzi bado wako inje.Kuangalia compound ya shule nikaona gari yake ndogo,ilibidi nimkubushe afunge store,ni makosa kuambia mtu afunge store?"Said Barasa as the crowd bursted into laughter
