The journalist identified as Kabinda Kalima was reading out the top news stories of KBN Tv news when he made the unexpected remarks on air.

" I work for the news ladies and gentlemen. We are human beings. We have to get paid, unfortunately on KBN we haven't been paid...Sharon and everyone haven't been paid including me. We have to get paid." Kabinda said.

However, the station CEO, Kennedy Mambwe have condemned the action and he says that he suspects that he was drunk.

" Last time night behavior by Kabinda is out of character and doesn't represent who we are as a station. We strongly condemn that despicable behavior and urge members of the public to treat that ' One Night Stunt Of Fame' with the contempt it deserves.
