During the interview, Waihiga appeared to question the Governor on her level of preparedness to host the Mashujaa day celebrations which will be conducted at her county with the anchor pointing out a few happenings that have been witnessed in the county.
Wahiga felt that the Kirinyanga county boss was contradicting herself by claiming she was prepared to host the celebrations yet she had stated to being left out of the preparations but she denied ever making such a statement.
"Wahiga, I don’t know where you get your news from, Those were not my words, Wahiga. That is what the media said but I did not use the word sidelined. I said I am not responsible for the people coming into the stadium because that is the responsibility of the National government." She responded.
Waiguru cautioned Waiguru to be careful when posing what she said and not contradict what the media said as the irritated governor refused to answer a question by claiming the anchor was persisting with the same question.
