For the better part of this week, Homeboyz radio have made headlines in the newsrooms after an incident where three hosts of a morning show are accused of demeaning a woman who was pushed from 12th floor of a building.

Shaffie Weru, DJ Joe Mfalme and Neville are said to have bad-mouthed a lady who was pushed by his Facebook boyfriend after she refused to sleep with him. The two lovers were drunk at the time when this incident happened.

A section of Kenyans who push for women rights raised the matter and the three hosts of Homeboyz radio have been fired by Radio Africa company.

East Africa Breweries Limited (EABL) also reacted to this saga where it announced that they will seize making adverts with the three radio hosts in their future endeavors.

However, a section of Kenyans still feel that the execution taken by both Radio Africa and EABL was unfair and deeper probing was necessary before taking any action.

In this regard, some people have pledged to boycott EABL products due to this action. A hashtag #boycottEABL has been trending on Twitter since yesterday.
