Kenyans where left in great aghast and dismay after photos of reknowned Kenyan musician Akothee lying in a hospital bed went viral a few weeks ago.
Despite having been discharged from hospital, details of the health condition the imminent musician is suffering from had remained scanty from the public timeline.
Akothee's doctor, Dr Sally Kosgei, a Nairobi-based Neurologist has now given kenyans a glimpse of the health condition that has been stealing the Musician's hapiness over the last couple of weeks. Sally articulated that Akothee is suffering from a nerve injury.
Exemplifying the condition, Sally stated that a nerve injury essentially happens when a nerve is compressed or injured by its surrounding tissues amongst them being tendons, bones or muscles.
Sally further stated that a nerve injury results to pain, numbness and reduced sensation in the affected area.
In an interview with media reports, Akothee had articulated that she has spenting sleepless nights occassioned by the pain caused by the nerve injury. She revealed that she has been experiencing numbness on her fingers upon waking up.
