Shock As The Rapper Records Statement Over Death Threats

Renown Kenyan musician and rapper Juliani has recorded a statement at Kileleshwa police station after he allegedly received threats from the people he said were unknown to him.

On Wednesday 1st September, Juliani came out to release a social media post after speculation following his photos with Machakos Governor Alfred Mutua's ex-wife Lilian Nganga surfaced online.

In the cryptic post by Juliani, he said Kenyans like everybody else are free to choose what to believe in.

"Asante sana for all who have reached out the past couple of weeks. Mola awazidishie.

No need for a statement about the obvious issue. I know you can think for yourselves. Draw your own conclusions. I believe in you." Juliani wrote.

The rapper has now come out to reveal how he got threatening phone calls and texts from people not known to him.

Taking to Twitter on Wednesday 1st September, the rapper wondered how a grown up person can be stolen from someone.

"How now can you "iba mtu"?! An intelligent adult with a sound mind." The renown rapper posed.

"The call/text threat on my life today, not funny! "ulinyang'anyana" narrative is false, tired, juicy headlines tuu. Kindly stop!" He further said.

Former politician and human right activist Boniface Mwangi also went on his Instagram page and shared videos of him with rapper Juliani at Kileleshwa police station, where he said Juliani recorded a statement over threats to his life.

From the background, one could hear Boniface Mwangi ask how can someone threaten you for loving another person.

"Someone has threatened my friend Juliani for being in love. He has recorded a statement at Kileleshwa police station," Boniface Mwangi wrote on his Instagram page.

In a different video that has gone viral in social media, activist Boniface Mwangi shared the video where Juliani is seen hanging with Governor Mutua's ex-wife Lilian Nganga at a restaurant having a drink.

"Juliani is my friend. No one should be threatened for being spotted with a consenting adult.

If you threaten my friend Juliani for sharing pictures we shall post videos.

We must learn to respect personal choices. Do what you want to do with your life. Love who you want. It is your life. Love is a personal choice." Boniface Mwangi wrote in the post.

Few days ago, Governor Mutua and Lilian Nganga took to social media to announce their bitter fallout after things failed to work out between them.
