According to Tuko news, Michael Gitonga, alias Uhunye wa Umo has reported to Serenity Rehabilitation Center after accepting to change. His friend, Joe Matheri confirmed that Gitonga is an alcohol addict and even the car he was gifted is in very bad shape due to his drunkenness.
This were netizens reactions;
"Sometimes fate is something one cannot understand. Or do I say this is in the interest of nature versus nurture? One brother is wallowing in poverty, the other one is wallowing in glamour of opulence," Geoff Kuria
"Angeenda na yule Uhunye wa Statehouse. Fellow Kenyans will cater for his rehabilitation cost," Chepngeno Benta
" Fame comes with it's consequences, good or bad, by the way I saw another lady claiming to be the original wife who was left by the guy in 2014, kwani alikuwa anadai kujoin jamaa rehab, "Malik Miriam
"Why the unfairness in the family ? Both brothers should just join rehab, we can raise the rehab amount," Pk Kimutai
