She made the headlines late last year in December when she surprised her fans online, after announcing her departure from the Royal Media Services-owned tv station after successfully working there for 5 years.

Despite it all the beauty queen has indeed enjoyed an illustrious career in the media industry, which had propelled her to become arguably among the best vernacular news anchors.

She has undoubtedly come a long way to become the woman she is today, and earlier today she gave netizens a sneak peek into her early beginnings.

Taking to her Facebook account, the ex Inooro TV anchor posted her throwback photo where she undoubtedly looked a little bit skinny compared to right now.

She accompanied the post with a sarcastic caption acknowledging that she looked skinny, and would have probably had a modelling career.

Aside from her career in the media, Muthoni Wa Mukiri also once had a passion for acting and took part in some Kikuyu vernacular plays.

She is also an alumnus of the Matembeni Primary School in Kiambu County and later joined the St. Luke's High School for her secondary education.
