The music industry has really been dominated by the male artists, giving the female artists a small number to thrive. The female artists have to work double hard for them to be able to get on top of the table.
Female artists in the music industry really go through a lot of challenges, giving them a hard time to achieve there missions. Wasafi records signed artist, Zuchu has publicly come out to express her frustrations she has over female artists challenges.
Posting on her insta stories on Instagram, Zuchu has cried out to promoters and companies who don't pay well and disrespect them just because they are female artists. She says all artists should be respected, either male or female. Companies and promotoers should give out opportunities considering an artists status in the music industry and not by favor.
Also she added that when it comes to payments, female artists should be paid the right way and should not be discriminated because they work so hard for themselves.
