The news of a gospel singer, Kambua quitting her work at Citizen TV after a twelve years tenure has got people talking. However, she is not the first lady who has stopped working there. Below are some who are no longer appearing on our Citizen TV's screen.
1. Janet Mbugua
Janet Mbugua was a host of Monday Special alongside Hussein Mohammed. She is a beauty with a brain who founded the Inua Dada Foundation which empowers and protects the rights of girls. The mother of two boys worked in the media industry for ten years before she quit in 2017.
2. Kirigo Ng'arua
Kirigo is a former Citizen TV's 1pm news presenter. She worked for eight years on television before she was called in. She once revealed that she preparing to present the 1pm news that the list of her being fired from the station came out.
The beautiful former Sunday Live presenter was one of the eloquent news anchors in the country. She is currently the overseer of the production of quality African content such as African Leadership Dialogue.
4. Joy Muthengi
She hosted the power breakfast show and 10 over 10 at Citizen TV. We wish them all the best in their future endeavors.
