Various celebrities are coming out to mourn the unfortunate incident whereby a local LGBTQ activist murdered in cold blood in Eldoret town and his body dumped in a metal box. 
According to Mpasho News media, Savara Mudigi from boy band Sauti Sol had shared his last conversation with the late Edwin Chiloba revealing that the slain LGBTQ activist has seen him as an inspiration and role model. 
"Happy holiday king. Keep inspiring and healing souls through your music, you are great. I wish you all the best 2023 my G. You are an inspiration to me especially when I listen to your song fashionista. Reminds me of who I am. Thank you. Kindly follow back," read the text.
Savara Mudigi responded back to the slain activist and wished him the best too. This unfortunate incident has sparked mixed reactions from Kenyans despite their religious beliefs. 
The police have launched speedy investigations to bring the perpetrators of this heinous act to book.
