Naomi Kamau is known to many as Alisson from Mother-in-Law where she plays the role of Robert's (John Mweu) wife. She doubles up as tough mother to Tina(Jackie Mungai) and Mike (Mike Okinyi) and a daughter-in-law to Charity(Elizabeth Wanjiru).
Her life has revolved around the media industry both as an actress and a scriptwriter and producer who is the brains behind most local shows like Reflections, Heart and Soul, Machachari, Tahidi High and Mother-in-Law. She is a sister to Joseph Kinuthia (known to many as Omosh from Tahidi High) and Wanade (Beth Nyambura Mbaya). She is an auntie to Kamau Mbaya known as Baha from Machachari and Mungai Mbaya, who appeared on Know Zone and Makutano Junction.
She has featured in other shows like Shamba Shape Up, a programme which covers farms in a range of ecological zones and tackle issues surrounding livestock, poultry, crops, soil fertility and the home, using experts from each sector.[Photos courtesy]
