Nikita Kering gave a thrilling performance of her chart-topping hit Ex as she graced BBC's live Afrobeat Concerto .The award-winning singer has been grabbing global attention with her powerful voice and creative music. She beat Tanzania's Zuchu and Nandy to bag the Best Artiste Rnb and Soul, and Best Female Artiste East Africa in Afrima awards.
Willis Raburu have lauded Nikita for her great performance during the BBC Xtra's Afro-beats Concerto. He took to his Instagram page to praise Nikita's angelic voices during her performance. Among other Kenya celebrities who congratulated Kering include Wahu, Kawira Laura among others.
Kering is not new to continental awards, having previously won two categories at the 2019 AFRIMMA ceremony in Nigeria.
The youngster bagged Best Female in Eastern Africa and Revelation of the African Continent awards. Famed for the track "Where You Been," Kering was also announced as the New Artiste of the Year at the Pulse Music Video Awards when she was 16 years old. The crooner attended the Brookhouse International School where she studied Music and Music Technology.
