Popular Swahili author famous for his books such as Kidagaa Kimemwozea and Sauti Njema died after he was hit by a bus along Landhies road in Nairobi. He was rushed to Kenyatta Hospital by a good Samaritan but he succumbed to his injuries shortly after.
2. Papa Shirandula.
Charles Bukeko popularly known as Papa Shirandula was a legendary comedian and actor . Papa died in July 2020 after developing breathing complications while awaiting treatment. His death was a major blow to the nation and many people eulogised him as a humble and down to earth man.
The legendary musician Issah Mmari famously known as E-Sir lost his life following a tragic road accident on his way back from a concert in Nakuru. E-Sir who was 21 years old is still one of the most iconic Kenyan musicians and a mentor to many Kenyan youth.
